World Cup 2019 ended, but Sachin's record could not be broken by anyone
London:  India's explosive batsman Rohit Sharma became the highest run-getter in the ICC World Cup in 2019. However, none of the world's cricketers with Rohit Sharma have been able to break a record of master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. New Zealand captain Ken Williamson became the Man of the Series, but he could not even break Sachin's record.

England's Joe Root needed 125 runs to break Sachin's record. Root could only score 7 runs in the final match. He is ranked 5th in the list of highest run scorers. He scored 556 runs from 11 matches at an average of 61.77. This includes his 3 half centuries and 2 centuries.
